Existing law creates the Legislative Fund as a special revenue fund for the use of the Legislature and, in certain circumstances, the Legislative Counsel Bureau. (NRS 218A.150) Section 2 of this bill requires the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau to publish for each fiscal year: (1) a detailed, line-item budget of the Legislature and the Legislative Counsel Bureau; and (2) the ending balance of the Legislative Fund and all accounts in the Legislative Fund. Section 1 of this bill requires, on or before March 1 of each year, the Director to publish, for the previous calendar year, the annual salary, including the compensation for overtime of: (1) the Secretary of the Senate; (2) each employee of the Senate; (3) the Chief Clerk of the Assembly; and (4) each employee of the Assembly.
